Anna Kendrick Showcases Her Singing Voice in 'Last Five Years' Trailer!

Anna Kendrick is becoming Hollywood’s go-to woman for movie musicals and we sure are not complaining!
The 29-year-old actress stars in the new film The Last 5 Years alongside Jeremy Jordan and the first official trailer has arrived. The film has been playing the festival circuit for the last couple months after its debut in Toronto back in September.
The Last 5 Years is “a musical deconstruction of a love affair and a marriage taking place over a five year period. Jamie Wellerstein (Jordan) is a young, talented up and coming novelist who falls in love with Cathy Hiatt (Kendrick), a struggling actress. Their story is told almost entirely through songs using an intercutting time line device; all of Cathy’s songs begin at the end of their marriage and move backwards in time to the beginning of their love affair while Jamie’s songs start at the beginning of their affair and move forward to the end of their marriage.”

Benedict Cumberbatch hits the red carpet with his fiancee Sophie Hunter at The Moet British Independent Film Awards held at Old Billingsgate Market on Sunday (December 7) in London, England.
The 38-year-old actor was joined at the event by his The Imitation Game co-star Keira Knightley and her husband James Righton.
Benedict won the Variety Award on stage that evening, and gave a long, heartfelt speech on stage.
“So no matter how lonely or scared or ‘independent’ I feel standing up here, there are legions of people who supported me to a point where I can just get up in the morning and do my job,” Benedict said. “My home team: my mother and father and my fiancée Sophie. The soundtrack to the movie Frozen is the top-selling album of the year and the film was also the top-selling movie. Coming in at second on the albums chart was Taylor Swift‘s 1989, which has only been out for just over a month.
Other songs making it onto the best-selling list include John Legend‘s “All of Me,” Katy Perry‘s “Dark Horse,” and Jason Derulo‘s “Talk Dirty.”
