Nigerian Entertainers Top FORBES 40 MOST POWERFUL CELEBRITIES IN AFRICA
On the list we were the first and not the last. With Novelist Chinua Achebe ranking as The #1 Most Powerful Celebrity in Africa, followed by 51year old Youssou N'dour of Senegal as #2 and Didier Drogba of Cote D'ivoire #3.
Just last month we brought you Ngozi Iweala's Forbes ranking as the 81st Most Powerful Woman in the world. That was HUGE for the former Vice President of WORLD BANK as on the list had
Presidents, Prime Ministers, Entertainment Mogul and Vice Presidents.
The Forbes 40 Most Powerful Celebrities in Africa list is topped with names from our Entertainment Industry consisting of names from Wole Soyinka and Chinua Achebe to Yvonne Chaka Chaka and Akon to Liya Kebede and Alek Wek to K'naan and Awilo.
