LAGOS FASHION MENIAC is a runway show with an edge in fashion and style, a platform set to develop, empower and encourage talented/young designers and models, with the responsibility of boosting, revitalizing and re-branding the Nigerian fashion industry through our events which discourages social ill-norms and values among the youths with a view of making NIGERIA great.
¬LAGOS FASHION MENIAC also aims at cutting across geographic and culture barriers and position itself as youth empowerment fashion show targeted at showcasing the best of young & upcoming designer/models, driving the Nigerian fashion industry and ultimately uplift its profile within the globe.
We give upcoming designers/models and visitors room for interactive platform to maximize their exposure within and beyond their industrial circle and open gateways for more business opportunities.
Following the most spectacular and successful story of the first and second edition of what the media has named Nigeria’s biggest and most creative contemporary fashion show, Lagos Fashion Meniac is gradually becoming a cultural and lifestyle brand. For this reason, wherever LAGOS FASHION MENIAC is staged in Lagos, the venues are often filled with celebrities and overwhelmed crowd of excited people, longing for a quality runway Fashion show the event is reputed for.
LAGOS FASHION MENIAC 2014 Tagged “INSPIRATION” will be centred at promoting the hand work of creativity among youths of Nigeria and the use of African fabric popularly known as Ankara into fashion designing, we are using this medium to create awareness to change people’s perspective toward African fabric as aged, out of fashion and fabric of the blacks. Lagos Fashion Meniac’14 is primed at showcasing how colourful and glamorous Ankara fabric has been transformed to become an inevitable part of modern style and also promoting African creativity to the world. To make this event a successful one, we have on board, fashion pioneers in the likes of BIG BEN, RIKAOTO BY ME, JREASON, AFRI-KEN by NANA a Ghanaian based designer, ANIFERZ, MONA-MATTHEWS, WIEZRUM FRANKLYN and JONA OKORODUDU with 10 other creative young and upcoming designers and top celebrities like CHIDI MOKEME, MONALISA CHINDA, IK OGBONNA, ALEXX EKUBO, CHIKE IKE, AIGBE MERCY GENTRY, YVONNE NELSON, IYANYA, OTIZ, BCODE, DAVIDO, B RED, HARRYSONG, EMINIIC, TEKNO, TIWA SAVAGE, NIYOLA, EMMA NYRA, UTI NWACHUKWU, DENRELE EDUN, DAYO EMPHRIM, ADAMS, EKU EDEWOR, TONTO DIKEH, BANKY W and many more.
To encourage these creative hands, ROYhiLLS FASHION HOUSE under the platform of “LAGOS FASHION AWARD” have put together an annual award to celebrate this outstanding Stars, Youths & Lifetime Achievers in the role of fashion who has tolled with their heart, soul and body in uplifting the Nigerian fashion industry. This award is specially set to encourage young fashion pioneers who have distinguish themselves rightly within the business circle of fashion and has in one way or the order proven that through fashion, style & creativity, one can impact lives, create jobs, and make a living.
